A message to our Public Works friends and colleagues regarding UNH T2 operations

In light of COVID-19 health concerns, UNH T2 has postponed all workshops scheduled through April 3rd.  As this is a fluid situation, we’ll continue to monitor events and communicate any additional changes in coming weeks.  In order to protect our staff, as well as help to protect our communities and “flatten the curve”, UNH T2 staff will be working from home effective immediately and at this time, through April 3rd.

We expect to be able to assist you as effectively from our homes as we do from the office, with very minimal (if any) disruption to our level of service!  Workshops are still available for registration through Learnforlife.unh.edu (as an individual) or your group’s private portal (through your unique hyperlink).   We will access both email and voicemail remotely, and will continue responding to both within 1-2 business days, if not sooner.  If your matter is more urgent though, please contact me at marilee.lafond@unh.edu directly and put “Urgent” in the subject line (or call me and indicate that in your voice message).

Many of our programmatic activities can be done remotely and will continue, including workshop development, technical assistance by phone or email, and sharing access to online resources such as web-based training and Tailgate Talks.  We are still very much here to help and support the local road agencies in New Hampshire, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to let us know how you and your teams are doing, and how we can help.  Similarly in regards to SADES (NH Statewide Asset Data Exchange System), we are evaluating current events and considering alternative options if necessary.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.  We will keep you updated as we reassess the situation in coming days, and sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Thank you all for all you do,

Marilee LaFond
