UNH T2 is pleased to host this special opportunity to meet the NHDOT Safety & Active Transportation team, including new Highway Safety Program Manager Mark Munroe. We'll hear from NHDOT leadership and staff about New Hampshire’s commitment and efforts towards zero deaths and serious injuries on our roadways. We’ll also review the critical role local highway departments play in achieving this important goal and how we can support you in your roadway safety efforts. Topics of discussion will include the NH Strategic Highway Safety Plan, road safety audits, funding opportunities, and resources and technical assistants to help your highway agency take action towards safer roads. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, networking, and meeting the team.
We invite municipal highway superintendents, DPW directors, road agents, municipal engineers, and Regional Planning Commission staff, as well as municipal administrators, elected officials, and local police chiefs, to join us Thursday August 15th from 8:30a-10:00a at NHDOT at 7 Hazen Dr. in Concord.
